Rochelle Secemsky Dyme


Rochelle is of counsel to the firm. She is skilled in both litigation and transactional work with respect to real estate, employment law and general corporate matters. Rochelle is particularly adept at counseling clients, both individuals and corporations, with respect to a wide variety of business matters. Prior to joining FVLD in 1994, Rochelle headed the real estate litigation practice group at a large Chicago law firm.

  • Represented both lenders and borrowers with respect to commercial real estate financing and loan defaults, and landlords and tenants in leasing and financing matters.
  • Advised businesses in general corporate matters and represented them in a variety of contract disputes.
  • Extensive experience representing employers and employees in connection with employment agreements, handbooks and policies, harassment, and hiring and firing.
  • Represented numerous institutional lenders in complex foreclosure proceedings.
  • Negotiated workouts and deeds in lieu of foreclosure in all types of commercial developments, including office, industrial and apartment buildings, hotels, motels and shopping centers.
  • Represented clients in both federal and state courts with respect to a wide variety of issues including bankruptcy, receiverships and lender liability claims.
