We support clients across the energy sector. Our main emphasis is on state-level regulation and other legal and compliance matters related to solar and retail energy sectors. We also represent entities outside the traditional energy space, from investors and financing parties to large energy users—essentially anybody interested in electricity or natural gas except regulated delivery utilities.
The core of our work has two primary components. First, we represent national and local trade associations in front of state agencies, helping them set the “rules of the game” from incentives and procurement to the market construct and consumer protections. The firm primarily works trade associations in the clean energy and retail energy spaces. Please contact us to learn more about the services we provide for trade associations.
Second, we leverage our experience across different types of energy clients to represent individual entities from owner/operators of solar and retail electricity suppliers to financing parties and investors. Our multi-disciplinary team has the capability to scale a team to the needs and scope of matters from highly technical regulatory issues to general corporate/“outside general counsel” assistance.
