Bryan G. Schatz

Bryan joined FVLD in March 2021 from Phoenix, Arizona where he practiced at a boutique law firm. Bryan has significant experience in litigation, general corporate counseling, and administrative and regulatory compliance.   

Bryan's litigation experience covers all phases of civil litigation, including client intake and pre-suit strategy, managing and coordinating discovery, filing dispositive motions, and handling appeals.  His litigation experience also covers a broad range of substantive areas such as: commercial and business disputes, complex civil actions, breach of contract and various tort claims, civil RICO, Lanham Act and false advertising claims, and defense of consumer class actions.   

He also has substantial experience advising clients on administrative and regulatory compliance.  Bryan has counseled clients on administrative and regulatory subjects ranging from general advertising standards to the specific level of scientific substantiation necessary to assert implied health claims on food and beverage labels.

Bryan graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as the Executive Editor and a Notes Editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal.  He also was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and coordinated GW’s first-ever Domestic Arbitration Competition.  During law school, Bryan interned with the General Counsel’s office at Horizon Therapeutics, where he assisted in the post-acquisition integration process and drafted various agreements on behalf of the company.  He also worked as a volunteer law clerk for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., where he assisted in trial strategy in Title VII, Freedom of Information Act, Privacy Act, Federal Tort Claims Act, and other claims against federal agencies.  Bryan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Outside of the office, Bryan is an avid golfer, enjoys cooking, and seeks out opportunities to spend time with his family.  As a former lacrosse player, Bryan also enjoys giving back to the lacrosse community and has coached lacrosse teams in his free time.
