Michelle grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois, and lived on both coasts before settling down in Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received a dual degree in Political Science and History, with a minor in secondary education. Following her graduation in 2000, Michelle lived in Northern California, where she was the Donor Services Coordinator for Meals on Wheels of San Francisco. After moving back to Illinois, Michelle was a paralegal for a small employment law firm. Michelle received her J.D. in 2006 from Boston University School of Law. While at BUSL, she was Administrative Editor of the American Journal of Law & Medicine and regional finalist in the ABA Client Counseling Competition. She also served as a teaching assistant for the First Year Research and Writing Course and was a legal intern with the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General. Michelle and her husband now reside in the city of Chicago. In her free time, Michelle enjoys cooking and travel. She most recently spent three weeks traveling through India. |
