Our History

Funkhouser Vegosen Liebman & Dunn Ltd. was founded in 1981 as Levin & Funkhouser, Ltd. by four attorneys who left one of Chicago’s well-established, larger firms. Several of the firm’s present clients had been clients of the founders for many years prior to the formation of the firm.

Our firm’s main objective at its formation was to establish a full-service firm able to handle the expanding and diversified requirements of our clients both in the United States and abroad.

Our belief is that we can best represent and advise our clients by developing a thorough understanding of their businesses and long range goals. Thus, learning our clients’ businesses and ultimate objectives is an essential component of earning their trust and providing them with the highest quality legal services.
